Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1996 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, it received a raving review from both music bloggers as well as from the media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only for fun or for the sake of development but instead, she was encouraged to pursue it. For this reason, she began writing new compositions. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. After her mother said that the songs she wrote might not be famous for her, rather to help people to realize their own value and impact to this world, she started performing them publicly. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and began writing music at the age of nine. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. It was never a dream to be Aurora. Her sole passion is to compose music. For her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels anything.
